The Fantasy Six Pack Hour: 2018 Running Back Preview

The Fantasy Six Pack Hour is back. We are back this week to continue our 2018 Fantasy Football previews.

A.J. Applegarth is not with us again this week as he welcomed his daughter into the world this past week. Congrats to him and his wife. We hope to have him back next week.

This week to help with the running back landscape is Fantasy Six Pack writer, Jonathan Chan. He wrote the position preview, bust and sleeper article for the running back position for the site. Be sure to follow him on Twitter @JChan_811.

Draft Strategy

Hot Topics/Questions

Jonathan helps me answer the following questions

  • Which running back is the one to own in Green Bay?

Bros in Different Area Codes

There was plenty of movement this offseason with running backs. Most notably we saw Jerick McKinnon and Dion Lewis sign elsewhere. Carlos Hyde, Isaiah Crowell, Doug Martin, C.J. Anderson, LeGarrette Blount, Frank Gore, and Jonathan Stewart all moved teams as well.

Jonathan tells us which back he likes best, which he is avoiding and more.

We have had some good rookie running backs in years past. However, this year might be the best we’ve had.

Between Saquon Barkley, Derrius Guice, Rashaad Penny, Nick Chubb, Sony Michel, Ronald Jones II and more, it truly can be special.

Which of these rookies does Jonathan like? Who does he want to avoid? Find that out and more.

Reaches and Steals

We finish the running back preview with each of us giving one reach and one steal in drafts.
